We are a local church in the Protestant denomination known as "The Church of the Nazarene." We are a church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, that traces its roots back through the 19th Century Holiness Movement, to John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church. The Church of the Nazarene was established in 1908 as a merger of holiness groups from around the United States. It was founded to spread the message of scriptural holiness (Christ-like living) across the lands. The motto of the Church is "Holiness Unto the Lord." Today the Church of the Nazarene is located in over 156 world areas.

 

The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is "To make Christlike disciples in the nations." As a local church, we make this mission our own as we seek to share the love of Jesus Christ with our community, making Christ-like disciples who make disciples.
